Drama(not the bad kind)

So, I'm getting all my theater mojo on.
Right now, I'm in rehearsal's to play MacBeth in MacBeth for the Monroe County Civic Theater's Shakespeare in the Park August production. I realized people might not know that.
It's taxing, and nerve-wracking but I feel up to it, assuming I can learn all the stuff I need to and we can get everything down.
The bigger news though is that I've been asked to put together an improv troupe and perform for 30 minutes at the MCCT one acts in March. This is wonderful, because I've been missing doing improv. I did some with Kate(not k8) on Thursday night and it felt good. I need to dust off my improv chops and get ready to do some directing. The question is, will I go the actor/director route, or will I simply direct. There are merits to both, especially in improv.
