Sports Night

is one of the best written, best acted shows that was ever put on TV and then wrongly pulled from TV. I want to beat up the ABC network. All of it.

Word.

The Geeky guy from that show is my hero. He even gets the hot chick.

Natalie is up there with Kaylee for me.

Dude, I saw her first.

Actually, I probably didn't. If you watched the show when it was actually on TV the first time around, you'd have me beat.

Not that either of us will ever be able to date/shag a fictional character.

Unless I get that rocketship from Planetaryso I can be a fictionaut...hmm.

It definitely has snappy, wonderful dialog. I'm just sorry they felt they needed a laugh track for any of it.

Ahh for an entire semester I got only 6 hours of sleep because I had to stay up and watch that show on Comedy Central at 3 AM

My favorite episode is the one where the network execs offer Robert Guillaume's job to William H. Macy. The little speech Macy gives to them in response is fantastic.

Very under-rated series, created by the same people that brought you West Wing.

DAMN straight! And yes, the addition of laugh track was just disgusting. It just cheapened (but did not sink) the whole thing. No, ABC, or whoever, sunk it for some unfathomable reason.

I loved that show...it sucked monkey ass that it got pulled.
Is it on cable yet? Or DVD?

DVD, it is a wondrous thing.

Agreed. Can we then go beat up ABC for cancelling Freaks and Geeks?

Agreed. Can we then go beat up NBC for cancelling Freaks and Geeks?

Sorry about the double-posting. Obviously I meant to write NBC the first time around.
