7 lessons of the past weekend
1. your family will be less distressed than you think about the fact that your hair is blue. It's probably still a good idea to avoid telling them about the tattoo though.
2. Rest areas in southern Ohio are scary at 3am on a saturday night when nobody else is around. Also, I should always plan for cold.
3. When I have an instinct to cancel a game, I should do it. I shouldn't run around like a chicken with it's head cut off and run a substandard game.
4. my sister is still quite cool.
5. I still don't really know how to take a compliment.
6. I need to play my guitar more.
7. the truth really will set you free. Learning one thing can set the mind at ease in a way that doubt and contemplation never can.
