I am determined to learn to snowboard this year. Anyone up to a trip to the ski resort in Paoli sometime soon?

*shudder* I hate that place

I understand it's probably pretty lame, but I'm fine with a wimpy place to learn snowboarding, less chance of nastiness.

Where is Paoli? And while I'm not so interested in learning to snowboard if they have skiing as an option I'd be interested. I like skiing. have you ever been to Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg, IN? I like their courses and I believe they have snowboarding, but I'm not postive.

You could come visit me too. :) We have some of the best ski areas in the country. :)

As an avid waterskiier and kneeboarder, I had never learned to do anything on snow. But I've got good balance, and if you're going to be learning too, I'd like to join you if it's not too expensive.

Please, please keep me in mind?

I'm sorry, I just saw this and..... did you says a ski resort in Paoli???? Paoli, PA??? Paoli, that godforsaken trainstop but otherwise strangely ritzy suburb of Philly? It has a ski resort? What, did some rich family build a mini-mountian there or something?

I recommend making the extra hour's drive to the Poconos... the bunny hills are pretty safe, even for me, the world's worst skier

no, Paoli indiana, not far from Bloomington.
Paoli, PA is oddly enough the town in which my grandmother died and where I got the worst haircut of my life. If I could get to the poconos, I would be there, but I have to content myself with local ski areas.
