Did a faerie oracle reading yesterday. Five card spread and such. This is what I got and my interpretations

1. (my situation) the Rarr/ inverted- a case of frustrated potential. The situation is one of great promise but a promise that is not being realized.

2. (my opposition) Solus- The obstacle here is weird, because Solus is so non-obstacular. But I think it boils down to the new. I should not fear change, though I often do. My fears of something new are standing in my way.

3. (one thing I can do) The Sage- I should listen to the wisdom of the earth and work my magic. Get in touch with the mystical and trust my judgement.

4. (another thing I can do) G. Hobyah/reversed- I am afflicted by false fears and doubts. I need to move beyond those doubts and open up to the possibilities.

5. (the goal) The Faery who was kissed by the Pixies- It seems good. It speaks to a time of the healing of hearts. Yeah. what else can I say.

Saturn

I have been criticized for coming down too hard on Saturn. It was never my intention to say that Saturn was bad.
Saturn, more than perhaps any other planet, has the power to affect our well being. Saturn represents our judgement, our aspirations, our drives. It is Capricorn, our ability to use, to decide. So when it is direct and favorable, it enhances aspiration, people strive to be more than they are, to move beyond their limitations. When it is retrograde and afflicted, people become tools of their limitations, settle for the easy and the bland. They choose apathy and laziness.
Saturn has been retrograde in Gemini until saturday. In Gemini it's energy turns to restlessness and disatisfaction. Nobody is happy where things are. Now that it is direct in the same place the energy to change is change for the better, not the easier. It is a chance to seek out the ideal.
