1. Boxers of Briefs, why? Also what about Mr. O'Feargus. No, that's not a euphanisim...
I am a boxerbrief man, the best of both worlds and hella comfortable. As for Eawan, I think he started out as a brief man, but after a while learned about boxers following his revelation of innocence.
2. Favourite Nookie Music?
It depends, though an evening of debussy, wine and candles is nice.
3. Song that makes you feel good whenever you hear it?
Love thing by Nautica Magic always makes me dance.
4. Why should I vote for Dean?
Alright, you should vote for dean because out of the democratic candidates that stand a chance of election(ignoring Kucinich and Sharpton who have good platforms but little electability) his is the most definitive and the best direction for the country. He opposed the Iraqi conflict from the beginning, he is willing to repeal Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy, he has a program on alternative energy, he supports gay rights and has a track record of doing so. Most importantly, Dean is the only democrat whose foreign policy does not start with the phrase, "we need to be stronger than everybody".
One reason I support him additionally is his non-political work experience. Bush's work experience involves failed business experiments. He was a poor businessman but in a position where his fuckups had no effect on him. Dean was a doctor. He has seen firsthand the nature of human life. His work involved the well-being of those he served. This is a much better place for a president to be drawn from.
Among the democrats, Lieberman is a republican in disguise, Edwards doesn't say a damn thing about specifics(really, check his website), Kerry lacks the necessary charisma, and Clark does not have the governmental leadership experience. Kucinich and Sharpton both have important statements to make about the importance of various things, but all in all, they do not represent enough of the democratic constituency to have an effect.
5. Why are you a vegetarian?
I am a vegetarian because the manner in which farming is conducted is unnatural and cruel. Animals are farmed by factories and slaughtered using not the most humane but the most cost effective method. Look at mad cow disease, that comes because they feed cows other cows. That is disgusting and unnatural, cows are not carnivores or even omnivores for that matter. They should be eating grain.
Additionally, the use of resources to produce meat is an inefficient use of resources. The resources used to produce meat could be used to produce a good deal more vegetative sustenance.
I do not deny that meat is a normal part of the human diet. Our bodies are designed to be able to process meat, not necessarily as the primary form of sustenance but as part of the diet. I simply deny that raising an animal in a box to be eaten is a natural or good thing. I believe that factory farming in the end drags down the human spirit. The denial of freedom is a cruel thing whether it can be justified due to the animal's "lack of intelligence" or not.
Finally, I knew a pig. I saw it grow up, I saw it love the people around it and become their friends. I saw the complex social relations that the pig formed with other animals around it. I could not after that justify ending the life of something so intelligent because I liked bacon.
