Catharsis -- An Anti-Miasmic Groove Ritual

When: This Friday, December 3rd
Time: 9pm until Breakfast
Where: Knightridge Club House

ca-thar-sis: 1. emotional release in drama or art. 2. process of freeing and eliminating repressed emotion.

This Friday is the night to come out and SHAKE YOUR THANG peoples! Alcohol will be present, but drinking is not the main focus of this event -- catharsis will occur through DANCE and ecstatic release. In order to attend this event, you MUST be prepared to get your groove ON; you don't have to be the best dancer in the world (if you can sway back and forth, or even do the white man's shuffle, you'll do fine). If you're planning to drink, please bring something to contribute to the alcohol table (the more colorful the drink, the better!) While you're at it, you should plan to wear something that will let you CUT LOOSE -- funny hats, funkadelic costumes, and other clothing that speaks to an explosion of repressed energy will be encouraged.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING CATHARSIS, please RSVP to ancientwisdomthat you will be coming, so that you can be assigned a ROLE to play in our groove ritual. Each person who attends this event will be assigned a role (you can get a role at the door, but the more FUN ones will be given to those who RSVP).

Possible roles (with corresponding night-long duties) may include:

Now, this is where things get fuzzy. I am not sure if I am going to return to Bloomington before new years or wait until after new years. I don't have plans for New Years either way, so it's all a matter of decisions. Any suggestions or invitations?
