(no subject)

So, playwriting season has rolled around again(1). And I'm not sure what to write about. I'm thinking a love story, because that's most of what I got for tension in my life. But I'm thinking of a love story where there is no love interest on screen/stage. I think I might even have a title "Me and Mrs. McGuffin". But I thought I'd put it to people to try and direct my muse a bit. Any suggestions for what sort of play I should write? the first draft will be done by the start of school.

(1) this is the footnote in which I explain playwriting season. I have a tendency to reflect on my romantic issues of the year in dramaturgical format. This invariably happens around christmas break. All of my good plays have been written over Christmas break.
