Ganesha was with me today as I did the bureaucratic/mechanical rounds today to prepare for Chicago. In order to get the following done, I had allocated hours of my time, figuring that I would be coming in at 5, exhausted. Instead, everything went smoothly.
I went to get my oil changed on the east side of town-in and out in 5 minutes.
I went to the BMV to renew my registration-in and out in 5 minutes
I cleaned out my car-15 minutes
I went to the mechanic to get my mirror replaced-in and out in 20 minutes
I went to the courthouse to get a non-registration ticket taken care of-in and out in 5 minutes.

I kind of wish I needed more bureaucratic stuff done, because today is the day.
