I dreamt last night that I ate chicken. The rest of my dreams, I felt kind of sick.

It's here. The moon has passed one full turn, and I am feeling much better. In the last month, I've remembered and realized. I am at a point where I know more what I want, know better where to get it and have broken some bad habits and gotten into some other better habits. Now, Mercury and Mars need to get their act straight, and then I'll be totally back in business.

So, to clear something up, here's what I mean when I say biological sex is arbitrary and constructed. Man is to Woman as Pirate is to Ninja. Sure, using the defined characteristics of "having a penis" or "possessing a Y Chromosome" or "using body wash" you can divide people into Men and Women. But it's just as easy to base your division of people on their 'level of sneakiness' or 'desire to wench' or 'desire to own a parrot' and divide the same groups into Pirates and Ninja. So mote it be.

Edit: what I'm not saying-I do not mean that the characteristics that we observe in order to classify gender do not exist, merely that when we choose to classify objects according to percieved patterns, we prioritize certain characteristics over others and create heuristic categories. These are not meaningless, but they aren't true or objective. In other words, there are a million ways that one could define the differentiation between Men and Women. With a large enough sample, all would get different results and none of them would be more right than any other in an objective sense.

So, instead of doing the filter thing, I've started a journal that is my book of shadows. I don't care who reads it, I just want to give people the option of not. The journal is shadowstag.
