What happens in Vegas

So, I've been watching the third season of Las Vegas. I am vaguely ashamed to say I enjoy the show, but I justify it by calling it an exercise in American Magical Realism. The worldview of Las Vegas is luck for the good, punishment for the bad, the inexplicable for the doubting and just a general money-centric magical realism. I kind of want to write a paper about it, though I feel vaguely ashamed of this desire.

a break

I need a break. somewhere in here, I need a chance to just lie down and rest, not feel like I'm neglecting things(or worse, actually be neglecting things). I don't really get one until March 11, and I'm counting the days.
