userpics

So, my paid account expires in a few days and I decided not to re-up. I don't really use it that much overall and I make use of none of the features of the paid account. So I had to cull my userpics. Dropping from 48 to six is not particularly easy and is somewhat bizarre in retrospect. It's like culling pieces of my identity, trying to sum up me in six facets. Some bits were easy to cull, some harder. I had to get rid of my city icons, I had to get rid of my elemental icons, I had to get rid of my purely commenting icons.
It's been enough of a culling that I wanted to take a few minutes to explore what I kept.

the lengths that I will go to

I just ordered a photographic print from a museum in Basel, Switzerland for use in a tattoo. I'm using my position as an Art History adjunct as an excuse. It's a really weird abuse of my position.
