Birthdays and Musicals
Well, Bush has been a dick and made it so there will likely be a war starting on my fucking birthday. Fucker. It's interesting, my good friend Ben also had a gulf war start on his birthday. Odd coincidence. But regardless, I will be celebrating the day of my birth tomorrow at the Irish Lion starting around 9pm. Anyone who wants to show up and wish me a pleasant 26 is more than welcome to. I promise that there will be significantly less death involved in this birthday.
And musicals. I just saw Chicago and it's wondertastic, fabulicious. It makes me miss musicals. I don't think people know that I used to sing and act. In fact I don't know that anyone knows this about me. Nobody I know now except family has ever seen me sing on stage. Which is tragic. I played Sancho Panza in the Man of La Mancha to rave reviews. I played both Old and young Joe in Damn Yankees and brought tears to the eyes of the audience. I nailed Jesus to the Cross in Godspell and nobody knows it anymore. I miss doing that. I want to make music in front of people again. I think that I'll go to an open mike night.
So to recap
