The universe is trying to teach me something about being poor this summer.

Okay, so I will get paid for the first time this summer in 9 days. 9 days from now, I will have money. Until then, and really since the beginning of June, I am broke. Completely and utterly broke, because my stupid godmother won't return paperwork, because my stupid boss didn't arrange my paychecks until the beginning of July and because, in general, the universe is being annoying. I hate this crap. I hate when people that are supposed to be responsible let me down. Because there are no consequences for them, just for me. They aren't going to be reduced to eating one or two meals a day, they aren't going to be stuck potentially missing credit card payments, but I am. I hate this, and am incredibly angry.

I know your financial woes. I'm working as needed as a temp, so I don't know what I'll be doing next week. Mike doesn't have a job, and his final paycheck from the previous job *still* hasn't arrived (almost two weeks after he should have received it because his boss is a turd and doesn't care that we are being screwed).

The ~$30,000 a year job I was hoping for fell through, so I have to keep shopping out my resume and trying to find a job that will meet my interests and needs.

Money problems fucking suck.
