explaining gollumgollum is like explaining the concept of the sandwich. Disparate parts attempting to be a single whole without losing individual identity.
Gollum is very determined to be herself. She does not compromise her identity, which is not to say she's not adaptable, just that she's always her. She always means well though sometimes she does not succeed in matching the execution to the intention.
She is pretty damn queer though.

kitsunebeast is a friend of mine from college. I met her first in a Japanese class, though the two of us really became friends through the LARPing community started by fallen_scholar.

She and I ended up doing a lot of things together. We were in an improv troupe together and we gamed together. I always thought she was quite cool and even had quite a crush on her back at school.

She is now married to another friend of mine, and I consider them to be about the coolest couple I know. They are expecting a young'un a ways down the line and I think she will be a wonderful mother.

squishymeister is enthusiastic, though she lacks confidence. She is also californian in many senses.
When it comes down to it, squishymeister reminds me of sign language, she reminds me of handshakes and congratulations and just seems to be someone who is interested in being happy and making others happy.

kinetikatrue. Starting with which syllable that's supposed to be accented on -- are we looking at a creative spelling of "Kinetic Cat Rue"? "Connecticut Rue"? "Kine Tika True"?

kinetikatrue is a friend of mine from Quaker circles. I don't know the overall origin of the name, but she goes by Kat and so I believe it's Kinetic Kat True.
She is cute and short and quiet, though she's quite smart and is from Maryland. It's hard to describe her in some ways, as my general impression of her has more to do with the feeling of her presence. She is always a nice person to have around, while she might not be the most vocal in the room, she is a good listener and is very observant.

the most excellent drydem is correct. broken down into its roots it does become "kinetic/k kat true", however it's meant to be thought of a word in and of itself. just like, ermm, . . . bugger, can't think of a good example. anyway, one word. which does mean "the true kat in motion". with the accent on, oh, the "kat", i think. possibly the "rue". meh. i hate figuring out accents.

fallen_scholar, the reason that I know you, he is quirky as hell. The trick to understanding fallen_scholar is understanding Chicago and the nature of the city. fallen_scholar is an incarnation. He is an incarnation of coffee, he is an incarnation of Chicago, he is an incarnation of entropy. He is a consumate intellectual, he is the go to guy for all things classical and is perhaps my favorite fellow gourmand. The man knows how to show people a good time.
Fallen_scholar is my partner in crime.
