So, I love the album OK computer, one of the things I've been working on overall is an acoustic version of the whole album. I'm doing okay with things so far. Here's the overall track listing with current status on each.

Airbag-it's about 95%, there's one chord I'm still working on.
Paranoid Android-hard, I'm thinking of doing it on piano, though I'm not great at things
Subterranean Homesick Alien-haven't worked on yet
Exit Music(for a film)-done
Let Down-not too hard, needs some spice
Karma Police-done
Fitter Happier-all experimental, got ideas
Electioneering-figured the basics last night
Climbing Up the Walls-haven't worked on yet
No Surprises-sounds awesome acoustic, done.
Lucky-pretty much done
The Tourist-needs work, I need to learn the song better

So, y'know what I hate about indexing journals(1) in french? They just goddamn make up words and write about them. Today, I was working on back issues of the journal "Aguiaine" and came across an article entitled "...de ramelotes et sarcoues". I didn't recognize either of the words in the title[other than de(of) and et(and)] so I tried to look them up. I went to french-english dictionaries. No dice. I went to the 16 volume french language dictionary, no dice. I went to the Larousse french encyclopedia, no dice. As far as I can tell, Jeanne Brunet just made these words up or pulled them out of some weird archaic version of French. AAAH. How am I supposed to deal with this when the article is about nonsense!

(1) for those who don't know, I work for the MLA, reading folklore journals and indicating what's interesting about them.
