So, I realized something. While I make a lot of eye contact with people, I have a tendency not to actually look at the eyes. I don't know that I could tell you the eye color of 1/10th of my friends. It's not that I'm not looking at the eyes, but I seem to look more at what they are communicating rather than what they look like.

Feb. 8th, 2005 12:06 pmSo, after reading Propp's morphology of the folktale, I have become determined to do a morphological study of the tabletop RPG, doing ethnographic work at Origins and GenCon and maybe other cons as well. I need to get in touch with the people who run them about observing games. I might actually want to co-author this, should someone(*cough*
bneuensc) be interested in helping me.
