eye color

So, I realized something. While I make a lot of eye contact with people, I have a tendency not to actually look at the eyes. I don't know that I could tell you the eye color of 1/10th of my friends. It's not that I'm not looking at the eyes, but I seem to look more at what they are communicating rather than what they look like.

So, after reading Propp's morphology of the folktale, I have become determined to do a morphological study of the tabletop RPG, doing ethnographic work at Origins and GenCon and maybe other cons as well. I need to get in touch with the people who run them about observing games. I might actually want to co-author this, should someone(*cough* bneuensc) be interested in helping me.

AIM

so, drop the ones from your AIM lists, I am now(again) drydem. I have reclaimed the ancient name that was mine in times of old, though it came with some odd sadness. still on my list of buddies was my grandfather who died a few years ago(9.13.2001). It was sad to delete his screen name.
