The Day of Four Diners
Mar. 28th, 2005 12:20 pmA formative story for Ben: ( There is no such thing as coincidence )
(1)which was later left at a bowling alley in Fort Wayne during "Seasick in Indiana"
(2)which was later stolen from the woods behind Earlham during my short lived teahouse experiment
(3)the place where I actually grew up from 0-8 years old
(4)who, incidentally, I had barely heard of at the time
(5)where, incidentally, my father had taken my sister and I all the time right after the divorce
(6)which was later lost in a move
(7)the point where I fell for Ani, a few weeks later, I shoplifted a bunch of her CDs, which I did a lot back then
(8)who, incidentally, spent some time in an Italian prison for protesting the G8
(9)2 blocks away was a close friend of ours, unbeknownst to us

am I asleep? had I slept?
Mar. 28th, 2005 04:09 pmI feel right now like I am coming out of a caffeine-deprivation induced sleep. Like I have spent the last 40 days on auto-pilot, not really living but doing something approximating it. I am sympathizing with media like the opening lines of here comes the sun or the 4th act of fight club. I suppose that's part of the point of lent, but never again with the damn coffee.
