1.why do you read other people's live journals?

2.how do your reading habits influence your writing habits?

and to be fair, I will answer these myself first.

1. I read other people's journals in an attempt to get to know who they are and what they are thinking.

2. I thus try to write revealing who I am and what I am thinking.

1. Mostly? I'm nosy. Plain-and-simple. I'm awfully nosy... and curious, and constantly sticking my snout where it doth not belong-eth. And I love hering other people talk.

2. I write for the audience I expect. Example: Tonight on dreamchat, David said something about reading mine & Kevyn's journals. I gasped, "David? Reads my lj?" I'd not considered him as audience. And I post a fuckton of private shit.

Oh yeah... and becuase I don't live by any of you, so everyday gossip is interesting.

i read other people's journals for about the same reasons. i don't write for my audience, exactly; i write because there are things i need to say and i feel a need to be heard. and if people want to get to know me better, then they will hear me. or something.

btw, are you running c-gen? if so, can i play? pleeeease? *grin*
