So, I had dragged my feet on watching the second season of new Who. I think Tennant is right up there in the top column for my favorite Doctors. I love it.

I was skeptical about him after an awesome season of Eccleston, but I think Tennant has really owned the role. He makes great technobabble, and has a great balance of mania and sombre dedication.

I like Tennant, but I prefer Eccleston. Tennant gets kind of Daffy Duck manic and whacky, and sometimes its a bit much for me. Eccleston got excited and energetic, without going TOO over the top.

second season is just amazing... but, well, fair warning. with exception of a few outstanding episodes, opinion varies on the third and fourth.
