I often wonder what the hell I am doing here in Bloomington.
In fact, all the time.

I wonder why I am here in Bloomington and not in Washington, D.C. trying to work for peace organizing demonstrations or producing street theater designed to raise awareness. I have the qualifications, why am I not there.

I wonder why I am here in Bloomington and not in Chicago, living in a city where I know the landscape and can live real city life, enjoying culture and living an urban life.

I wonder why I am here in Bloomington and not in England, exploring the spiritual tug that I feel drawing me to the Island of my ancestors and to my past.

I wonder why I am here in Bloomington and not in Philadelphia, living near my family, able to visit and spend time with those that I love.

I wonder why I am here in Bloomington and not in Vancouver, BC. Living in a country I feel some kinship to and enjoying 200 days of rain every year(I love rain).

I wonder why I am here in Bloomington and not in New York or LA, trying to be an actor, trying to become famous or at least giving it a shot.

I wonder why I am here in Bloomington and not walking across Europe, learning languages as I go and spending time alone with my shoes.

I wonder this all the time. When did the center of my web become a small town in southern Indiana?

Ever considered Colorado? :) You could just relocate your whole next-years house out here. it's beautiful, lots to do, activist stuff to do in Boulder, it's not the mid-west, and I'm here.

You're in Bloomington, because thats where you need to be. Don't listen to punks like this, because they will always lead you astray.
